Continuity defines whether the same resource should be used across related training slots. XO Scheduler supports three types:
Required Continuity β Must be the same resource (e.g., same instructor for briefing, sim, debriefing).
Preferred Continuity β Use the same resource if possible (e.g., same simulator across days).
Discontinuity β Must be a different resource (e.g., different instructor for LOE vs simulator sessions).

1) Required Continuity
Right-click Day 2 β Create Continuity β Sim Instructor.
Name:
Day2 Sim Instructor.Repeat for Day 3.
2) Preferred Continuity
Click Create.
Filter by Role = Device.
Select Simulators for Day 2 & Day 3.
Set type = Preferred.
Name:
Sim Day2-3.
3) Discontinuity
Duplicate Day 3 to create Day 4 (LOE).
Rename topics and assign new color.
Create continuity β Filter by Instructor.
Mark Day 2 & Day 3 instructors with βDβ.
Right-click Day 4 instructor slot, mark as Discontinuity.
Name:
LOE Discontinuity.
